Ford Kuga Kuga Mk2 / C520 (2012–2019) KUGA-C520
The second-generation Kuga (2012-2019) was sold in both the EU and, from around 2012-2013, locally assembled by Ford Sollers at Elabuga for the Russian market with the same core engine range as the EU car, until Ford's 2019 exit from Russian passenger-car manufacturing ended the line.
Its 2.0 Duratorq TDCi diesel is named in the same UK DVSA cylinder-head-crack recall confirmed for other Ford models of this era, so a VIN recall check and cylinder-head inspection apply; the 1.5 EcoBoost petrol needs its own service-history check instead.
Assessing an individual example means confirming engine and assembly market from the documents and VIN before applying either route.

Pre-purchase checklist
- ☐Check this specific car's DVSA recall status by VIN for campaign R/2018/008 and confirm whether the official remedy — engine/cooling-system inspection, replacement of affected components, and fitting a Coolant Level Sensor with warning software — has already been applied
