Reliability snapshot

The modern G14/G15/G16 8 Series is a luxury grand tourer and four-door Gran Coupe using turbocharged six- and eight-cylinder engines. It is a relatively recent model with mostly minor reported issues — electronics/software and routine cooling and oil maintenance. The B58 six and N63/S63 V8s are strong engines. Following the Condition Based Service schedule and using correct-spec oil are the main ways to keep the G14 reliable.
