Reliability snapshot

The F12/F13/F06 6 Series is a luxury grand tourer using turbocharged six- and eight-cylinder engines. The N63 V8's documented wear points (timing, VANOS, injectors, oil consumption, addressed by BMW campaigns) are the main engine concern; the N55 six is more straightforward. Cooling components and the oil-filter-housing gasket are common maintenance items. The F12 is dependable when the N63 campaign history is checked and cooling is maintained.
