The second-generation Touran 5T catalogue runs entirely on VW's MQB four-cylinders — EA211 1.2/1.4 TSI petrols (superseded by the EA211 evo 1.5 TSI from ~2019) and EA288 1.6/2.0 TDI diesels — all front-wheel drive. It is a Western/Central-Europe (EU) line: the 5T Touran was never officially imported to Russia, where VW dropped the Touran after the first-generation 1T, so no RU applications exist for this chassis.
