The Passat B8 catalogue runs on the EA211 1.4 TSI and EA211 evo 1.5 TSI, the EA888 gen-3 1.8/2.0 TSI petrols, a 1.4 TSI GTE plug-in hybrid, and the EA288 1.6/2.0 TDI diesels (including the 240 PS biTDI on DQ500). The Russian market officially imported the TSI petrol range only (1.4 and 1.8 TSI); the 2.0 TSI 4Motion and Alltrack were EU-market, and no diesel or GTE was sold in Russia.
