The R171 SLK shares both its spine engines with generations already in the graph: the M271 supercharged four-cylinder (SLK 200 KOMPRESSOR) and the M272 V6 (SLK 280, SLK 300, SLK 350). It therefore adds no new occurrence patterns of its own; those patterns resolve onto this generation's configurations at the engine level. The SLK 55 AMG is out of scope.
