The W164 M-Class shares every spine engine with generations already in the graph: the OM642 V6 diesel (ML 280/320/350 CDI), the M272 V6 petrol (ML 350) and the M113 then M273 V8 (ML 500). It therefore adds no new occurrence patterns of its own; those patterns resolve onto this generation's 4MATIC configurations at the engine level.
