Overview
Community orientation

The W204 C-Class launch range was offered with the M271 four-cylinder and M272 V6 petrols, and the OM646 four-cylinder and OM642 V6 diesels. It shares the M271, M272 and OM642 families with the W212 E-Class, so those occurrence patterns are the same engine-level ones resolved onto this generation's own configurations; the OM646 2.2 diesel is specific to this range. A six-speed transmission was standard across the range, the C 350 excepted — it shipped with the 7G-Tronic seven-speed automatic. See the per-configuration breakdown for which patterns apply to which build window. Community orientation only, not a reliability rating or a purchase recommendation.

Filtered: M271 · 1.8L petrol (M271).
