Overview
Source-reviewed inspection orientation

The Staria US4 is a rare case of commercial architecture turned into an expressive family MPV. Hyundai Australia's official specification pairs the diesel version's D4HB 2.2 CRDi with all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic; it has a very different character from a familiar crossover.

For a diesel with this role, a change in pull should not be ignored. If acceleration fades, smoke appears or a warning comes on, read codes and examine intake and fuel data before discussing injectors, a turbocharger or cleaning.

A good Staria stays composed with passengers and luggage: the diesel pulls evenly, the automatic does not bustle and a long drive brings no unexplained power limitation. Inspection is therefore most useful under load and after full warm-up.

Filtered: D4HB · R 2.2 CRDi (D4HB).
