Overview
Source-reviewed inspection orientation

The 2023 Santa Fe MX5 radically changed its proportions: it is a tall, almost architectural family SUV rather than a simple continuation of the previous line. Hyundai's official specification for the 2.5-litre Smartstream T-GDi identifies G4KP, all-wheel drive and an eight-speed DCT.

For an early car, precision with electronic warnings matters. Hyundai's service campaign for certain 2024-model-year 2.5 T-GDi vehicles directs P060547 to a VIN check and ECM-logic update, not to mechanical repair on the strength of one code.

An MX5 should be read as a modern integrated system: confirm that its VIN has no outstanding campaigns, assess powertrain behaviour on the road and record software-update history. That produces a far more useful picture than assigning the model a reliability rating in advance.

Filtered: G4KP · Smartstream 2.5 T-GDi (G4KP).
