Hyundai Elantra AD
The Korean Avante AD, sold elsewhere as the Elantra, arrived in September 2015 as a front-drive compact sedan. Hyundai lists a 1.6-litre 132-PS petrol four with either a six-speed manual or automatic, while a parts catalogue identifies that application as G4FD.
That gives the inspection its shape: direct injection means an uneven start should not be assigned to one cause. A response concern calls for separating intake and injection work from mechanical wear; oil use, noise or a compression concern calls for cylinder checks and measurements.
For an individual AD, a calm cold start, even pull and clear service history matter more than a blanket generation verdict. The useful inspection is for this 132-PS version, not an assumption borrowed from another Elantra.
