Reliability snapshot
The G45 is the newest X3 generation and is too recent for documented long-term issues. It continues BMW's modular turbo B-series engines and mild-hybrid technology. As with any new model, the main way to protect long-term reliability is to follow the Condition Based Service oil intervals, use correct-spec oil and coolant, and keep the software up to date. Early ownership reports are limited given its recent launch.
