The G22/G23/G26 4 Series (coupe, convertible, Gran Coupe, plus the electric i4 on the G26 body) uses modular B-series engines and is generally reliable. Reported items are mostly minor electronics/software and routine cooling and oil maintenance. The B48 four-cylinder and B58 six-cylinder turbos are well regarded.
