The Audi A6 C8 (2018–2024) spans the 45 TFSI four-cylinder 2.0 TFSI (EA888), the 55 TFSI 3.0 TFSI V6 petrol, the 40 TDI 2.0 TDI (EA189/EA288) and the 45/50 TDI 3.0 TDI V6 diesel, as sedan and Avant, quattro all-wheel drive. This generation authors no problems of its own: each of its engines is modelled on another corpus, and those patterns resolve onto C8 through the shared engine graph.
