The Audi A5 8T (2007–2016) spans the 2.0 TFSI (EA888) four-cylinder, the 3.2 FSI V6, the S5's supercharged 3.0 TFSI, the 2.0 TDI (EA189/EA288) and the 3.0 TDI V6 quattro, as coupé, Sportback and Cabriolet, in front- or quattro all-wheel drive. This generation authors no problems of its own: each of its engines is modelled on another Audi generation, and the shared engine graph resolves those community patterns onto the A5's applications by engine. This is an editorial catalogue summary, not a reliability rating; each pattern carries the build window it applies to.
